You are invited to the Mirrabooka Community Markets which will showcase unique and diverse food, art and crafts and entertainment from around the world.
Stallholders from your local community have been given the opportunity to learn new skills in establishing a small business and the markets will provide local families and the wider Perth community an evening of activity that brings community together on warm summer nights.
Food stalls will be selling authentic and cultural food like Bosnian baklava, Persian ice cream, pastries stuffed with Somali spiced meat, Afghan Shola curry and rice, Sri Lankan chicken biryani and West African Jollof rice just to mention a few of the delicious dishes that will be on offer.
Aboriginal Art and craft will also be on sale including unique tableware, clothing and jewelry from Africa as well as traditional Afghan craft knitted and crocheted by a women and youth group who come together to pass their culture to the next generation.
