Bringing Christmas Joy to Families in Need
Embrace the true meaning of Christmas this festive season and donate towards our Christmas Food Drive for Project Dignity lead by Sudbury Community House.
Project Dignity helps to empower the community through an emergency relief response to the growing food insecurity crisis. The initiative provides food supplies and basic essentials to 1,601 children and families each week within Perth’s most disadvantaged areas. The relief program connects with vulnerable children and youth through Early Learning Centre’s, Schools, Youth Centre’s, and Community Groups. Providing nutritious food to families supports children's wellbeing and allows them to fully engage in learning opportunities, helping them thrive in life.
You can drop off your donations of non-perishable food items at our collection bin located in the Fresh Food Mall to help us support those truly in need this holiday season.
Donations will be accepted between 25 November to 31 December.
Christmas most wanted items are:
- Canned Fruit and Vegetables
- Spreads (Jam, Vegemite, Honey)
- Pasta
- Rice
- Pasta Sauce
- Cereal
- Baked Beans and Spaghetti
- Long Life Milk
- Tea and Coffee
If you wish to donate funds directly to Sudbury House to support Project Dignity’s operations and the purchase of gift vouchers for culturally appropriate food needs. Donate today.
