The monthly Mirrabooka Community Markets showcase unique and diverse food, art and crafts and entertainment from around the world. Enjoy evenings of vibrant activity for the whole family on warm summer nights.
Stallholders from the local community have been given the opportunity to learn new skills in establishing a small business. Food stalls will be selling authentic and cultural food like Bosnian baklava, Persian ice cream, pastries stuffed with Somali spiced meat, Afghan Shola curry and rice, Sri Lankan chicken biryani and West African Jollof rice.
Aboriginal Art and craft will also be on offer including unique tableware, along with clothing and jewellery from Africa, and traditional Afghan craft knitted and crocheted by traditional women and a youth group who come together to pass their culture to the next generation.
Dates: Thursday 13th February and 19th March 2020
Time: 4.00pm - 9.00pm
Place: Sudbury Road car park (Between Gloria Jeans and the Mirrabooka bus station)
